Hello.  I am Steve.

I deci­ded to write this guide to help out.  It was an honor to serve with the men and women of the USS
JOHN C. STENNIS.  As I recon­nec­ted with sai­lors on Face­book, the catching up led to ques­tions about the
civi­lian job mar­ket.  This is an effort to address their ques­tions fully.
I am a for­mer Naval Offi­cer and currently work at impro­ving the energy effi­ciency of industrial
faci­li­ties.  Proud to be asso­cia­ted with the men and women of the machi­nery divi­sion on USS JOHN C.

I deci­ded to write the Green Job Gouge to help out the men and women I ser­ved with on USS JOHN C. STENNIS.  As I recon­nec­ted with sai­lors on Face­book, the catching up led to ques­tions about the civi­lian job mar­ket.  I found that nuc­lear trai­ned sai­lors were espe­cially inte­res­ted how to apply their skills to green energy.   This is an effort to address their ques­tions fully.

I do not have jobs to offer nor I am a rec­rui­ter.  What I have is infor­ma­tion.  Every inter­view I have done has resul­ted in a job offer.  I hope to show that lan­ding your dream job is the detai­led exe­cu­tion of the basics.
